The authors at Didamed Publishing are not only experienced (specialist) physicians, but also have many years of practical teaching experience with thousands of medical students and physicians from ultrasound and image interpretation courses attended by participants from across the country. The editor is a diagnostic radiologist who has earned a habilitation in medical education; he has completed numerous international trainer certification programs, including at Harvard and Stanford Universities, and has more than 30 years of experience as a lecturer at several universities as well as in the training of “Master of Medical Education” students.
For this reason, our medical textbooks are designed in accordance with the latest findings in learning theory and complement, among other things, the training and continuing education programs offered by the Medical Didactics Working Group. These are interactive workbooks: “Tricky” quiz questions allow students to check their own progress, and supplementary video clips further illustrate the material to maximize retention.
These titles are particularly well-suited as preparatory and in-depth learning materials for continuing education courses or workshops in medical imaging, as well as for teaching practical skills (e.g., in “skills labs”) in the field of medicine.
